Maple Leaf Bike Ride Info

The annual Maple Leaf Bike Ride will be held October 11, 2008 at Kellogg Lake Pavillion in Carthage, MO. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the development of the Ruby Jack Trail - a 16 mile "Rails to Trails" project that starts at Carthage, MO and goes through the towns of Oronogo and Carl Junction, and extends all the way to the Kansas State Line. The trail is currently open for hiking and mountain biking, but it is very rough and a lot of work needs to be done before it can be fully opened for use by all types of bikes. By registering for this event you are helping the Joplin Trails Coalition make the Ruby Jack Trail a true asset to the entire Southwest Missouri region.

100% of all funds raised will be used by the Joplin Trails Coalition to develop, maintain, and enhance the Ruby Jack and Frisco Greenway Trails.
