NOTICE: Early packet pickup October 7 at City Hall in Joplin, MO.
If you have already registered via paypal or mail-in registration, you can pick up your rider packet and T-shirt a day early. You will miss the long lines on the day of the event and will be able to just show up and ride! Early packet pick-up will be from 4:00pm till 7:00pm on October 7 at Joplin City Hall (6th & Main in Joplin - rear parking lot).
The Joplin Trails Coalition is proud to present the first annual Route 66 Mother Road Bicycle Tour. This unique recreational event is scheduled in early October, a time of moderate temperatures and beautiful fall scenery.
Four milage options provide opportunities for cyclists of all ability levels. Routes of 12, 33, 66 and 100 miles follow the Mother Road from Missouri, through Kansas, into Oklahoma and back. Rest stops spaced along the route will provide food and refreshments. All routes start and end at
Joplin Athletic Complex (near Schifferdecker Park) in Joplin, MO.
Experience the thrill of following Route 66 through Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma from the unique vantage point of a bicycle.
100% of all funds raised will be used by the
Joplin Trails Coalition (a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization)
to develop and maintain a regional, multi-use trail system.
